The black Ortelsburg by Hansakapitän out of Eichkatze by Löwenruf stood in Celle and left mostly daughters for Hanover. He is the second dam sire of the black EH Hohenstein-son Harvard, who is now standing at stud in Canada. Ortelsburg left a few influential daughters for the Trakehner breed as well (e.g. Schwarzgold or the Americanh foundation mare Zitzewitz). Ozean by Ernest out of Selmar by Bürge, on the other hand, was a stallion of such outstanding quality that it can only be called a pity that Trakehner breeders did not utilize him during his time. He proved to be one of the breed's most prepotent jumper sires, and not only manifested his line through his excellent son Cesar, but also through his Hanoverian daughter Odessa, dam of the century sire Grannus. More about him can be read in the Oldenburg section of this site. Ozean is also the dam sire of the Hanoverian stallion Weingraf, the top show jumper Graziella, and the popular Allegro (at stud in Denmark). In the Trakehner breed, apart from Cesar, he also sired the influential mares Ethis and Passarge (hte latter dam of the important jumper sire Passat). Trautmann by Stern xx out of Trautste by Altan founded small stallion line that was popular at its time, mostly through Traugott-Trapper-Tannenberg, but has lost some of its popularity and is not present in Celle today. Trautmann's daughters are present in some pedigrees today, and in the Trakehner breed, his daughter Gundel founded a very successful branch of the Gundula-family in Hörem (Guter Planet, Guter Stern, Ginster, Grafenstolz TSG, etc).

Cyklon | Hessenstein |
Inselkönig |
Cyklon by Helikon out of Cyclade by Landgraf was stationed at Badbergen and made a name for two things: difficult horses with impeccable abilities as show jumpers! His sons Ceylon, Cid, Cymbal and Cypern were all sired in Hanover, and the Celle State Stud finally gave Cyklon to another state stud, this time in Warendorf, where the line grew immensily popular through Cyrus and his son Cyrian, two top show jumper producers in Westfalen. Cyklon's influence on his own breed remained marginal. Hessenstein by Komet out of Sonett by Famulus was rather the opposite. Although popular during his time (in fact, he remains one of the most popular stallions of the 70s in the Trakehner breed), and over 8 approved sons, his influence today is almost gone, if it wasn't for the North American top Hunter producer Schönfeld (by Meilenstein). Hessenstein daughters had some influence, but almost none of that blood is present in modern Hanoverian lines today. His Hanoverian bred son Hessel was approved for the Dutch breeds. His most noteworthy offspring was the mare Heike, who produced the very good Manstein, a stallion approved in Oldenburg, Hanover and later, the Danish Warmblood Registry. Inselkönig by Kapitän out of Insterlied by Stern xx was proclaimed as a "perfect model of a breeding stallion" at his approvals in Neumünster, but found only limited influence into the Hanoverian breed and eventually sold to North America. His daughter Inka was later introduced in the Westfalen and Rhineland breeds, where she became the foundation mare of the exciting young Bundeschampion and approved stallion FS Sandro Classic (whose dam is by the Trakehner Sir Chamberlain).

Gelria by Kassio out of Griseldis by Pindar xx was one of four brother from this combination of the DLG champion mare Griseldis and the best Aglanz-son in the Trakehner breed. Both sidres of his pedigree had substantial influence in Hanover (Abglanz, and Pindar xx as son of Abendfrieden xx, who sired Pik As xx for Hanover). The lease of Gelria to Celle from 1985 to 1988 was therefore a logical step to make. The impressive chestnut produced his masterpiece with the Hanoverian Grand Galopin (dam by Dirk). He won the 100 day test in Adelheitsdorf and sired several successful Grand Prix dressage horses like the impeccable Giselle or Gwendy. And Gelria also sired the Trakehner Reserve Champion Steuben, who was leased by Celle too, and sired the international Grand Prix show jumper Rosegarden/R. Pessoa. Quite a successful line for Hanover! Steuben finally left Celle and was sold to Italy. Obermaat by Hansakapitän out of Garbe by Wildbach left the approved stallions Ovid, Oberhof and Oran for Hanover and his sons spread his influence to Westfalia and Hessia as well. A number of daughters were entered in to the stud books as well.
