Sire Induc is one of several approved EH Marduc sons with great impact on the dressage world. Others include EH Anduc and EH Herzzauber. Induc won the Bundeschampionat as a 4 year old riding horse with Hans-Jürgen Armbrust in 1994. Unfortunately, he never showed up at higher levels of competition. No question he would have done well. Like EH Anduc, he is out of an Ibikus daughter, and the second dam Illusion II was an FEI dressage horse with Harry Boldt prior to her life as a brood mare. The mare family of Inka has also produced the outstanding eventer Inster Graditz. Induc has no approved son in Germany, but for North America, the ATA approved Happy Hour, in Austria, the full brother Harley was approved (now living in the US too), and in New Zealand, Amarduc was approved. The dam Hekla was bred in Denmark and is a daughter of the very respected performance horse sire Arthus, one of three Rondo sons in the breed. He is a paternal half brother to the ATA's Graditz and the late elite stallion Friedensfürst. Hertha by Bergsturm is also dam of Hellas by Donauwind, who is dam of the Inter I dressage stallion Hertug (by Schwadroneur). SHe also produced the performance test winner Henkel. Hertug won the Danish Riding Horse Championships three years in a row, the first horse ever to accomplish that. Most recently, he was sold as a performance horse. The mare line of Herba is of Anglo Arabian origin. |
