The sire
Latimer was approved as a premium stallion in Neumünster in 1998. He passed an excellent stallion performance test, and won at FEI levels in dressage all over Europe as the top mount for young rider Theresa Wahler, including the individual bronze medal at the 2007 German Young Rider Championships. Latimer was very popular among breeders from the beginning and covered many mares. His get are doing very well under saddle and impress with high natural rideability. Latimer has several champion mares among his get, and the approved Trakehner sons Hibiskus, Illux (ATA), Karolinger I and II, Immenhof and Finckenstein. Karolinger I was Champion Stallion in Sweden, placed at the Bundeschampionat 2005 and was the top knock down price at the Klosterhof Medingen Elite Auction with 250.000 Euro. Latimer is a 3/4 brother to the approved Liebestraum. The mare family of Lust also produced the Grand prix dressage stallion Lions-Club (by Ferrum) and the accomplished Lucado (by Donauwind).
The dam
This premium mare has inherited her sire Latimer’s distinctive charm. She has already produced a foal and was awarded a Ia prize at the 2004 national Trakehner mare show in Neustadt/Dosse. Her dam Patience produced several Medingen auction horses, among them the graded stallion Palladio, who was gelded and became a successful S-dressage horse under the name of Paladino. The dam line further stands for the premium stallion Pricolino and the Le Rouge-sire Pret a Porter.
