The sire
King Arthur was the Neumünster champion stallion in 2000. He was also the approval champion of the Danish Warmblood Society in 2003. King Arthur is fully approved in Hanover, Oldenburg, Denmark and Sweden and was the reserve champion of his stallion performance test in Neustadt/Dosse. He is a highly versatile stallion, but his owners promote him in dressage, so his jumping talent is a bit unnoticed. The stallion had his first noteworthy season in 2004, where he placed in the top ten at both the FEI Young Horse World Championships in Verden as well as the Bundeschampionship in Warendorf. Today, he is an accomplished FEI horse. King Arthur's mare family is that of O23A2 Kabinda, a line that has also produced the very popular Karwendelstein. His dam is also dam of the ATA's Kitfox.
The dam
Flavia V has the elite riding horse Fendi (by Houston) in the collection of the 2005 NMS auction. She is by the great performance horse producer Arrak, whose offspring have competed at Olympic Games in dressage (Merlin TSF/Carolin Hatapla, Atlanta 1996) and have also won at FEI levels in eventing and show jumping. The second dam sire Giogio Armani is an important brood mare sire in the breed, apart from the fact that he had a very successful FEI career in dressage. The stallions I-Punkt, Insterburg and Illux are all out of Giorgio Armani daughters. The second dam Funny Girl II also produced the competition horses Franklin and Fairness (both by Arrak) and third dam Fanny XIII is dam of the outstanding S** level show jumper Fizzcaraldo (by EH Leonardo). The Flamme mare family has a long tradition in the stable of breeder Dieter Trepkau. Other stallions from this line include the all time great Flaneur, his full brother Mahdi, Falkensee, Feingeist (now ATA), Feudenfest, Farinelli, Fourtrax (ATA), Flugwind, Falkner and Fahnenträger II.
