The new approved stallion of the ATA in 2004

The new stallions

High Knight was an elite auction riding horse at the Neumünster approvals and auction in 2002 (as a three year old), where Christine and Sheryl Williams of Luxwsporthorses in Victoria, BC, Canada bought the youngster. He is the first son of the important TB stallion Heraldik xx in North America and even though 50% TB, is very tall and substantial. He shows exceptional qualities under saddle and combines much needed refinement blood with a solid Trakehner dam line, tracing back to Ibikus via dam sire Amadeus and Impuls via Insterruf-Schwalbenflug. The second dam Humanita was a full sister to the former champion stallion Highnoon, High Knight is currently stationed at Keenridge Farm/ Hilda Gurney while in training for a dressage career.

Arapaho GS another example of the highly successful breeding operation of the Schickedanz family in Canada. True to their concept, this beautiful stallion is an inbred to their amazing foundation mare Abiza, who also produced the World Cup winner Abdullah and the Pan Am Games medalist Amiego. Sire Adrian is stationed at Galten Farms and is a member of the Impuls line. His dam is also Abiza by Maharadscha, which gives fans of this mare an interesting option in the young Arapaho GS. Arapaho GS is bred and owned by Galten Farms in Canada.

Baron Verdi was bred by Werner Kindt in Germany, and his dam Baroness was sold in foal to Timothy Holekamp and Maren Engelhardt. Baron Verdi was born in Germany at the Engelhardt farm and spent his first 15 months with "his" family, winning the Wiesenhof Foal Championship with solid 8s and a 9 for his walk. He arrived in North America as a yearling. The sire Monteverdi TSF is one of the breed's most promising Grand Prix dressage talents and was the champion in NMS in 1998. He is a maternal half brother to EH Michelangelo. The dam is the Verband and State premium mare Baroness, State Champion mare of the Saarland, and a daughter fo the much respeced and very important dressage sire EH Anduc. The maternal line further continues with Etong, who is a cross of Arabian (Maharadscha) and English TB genes (Jonkheer xx) and further down we find Condus, the breed's most important carrier of Ramzes AA blood.

Patras vom Rappenhof is the fourth approved full brother from the combination of Carino with the ATA exceptional mare Palma Nigra. Carino is the last major carrier of the valuable Liguster-Intermezzo-Oxyd blood in the Trakehner breed and is still alive at Connie Kempter's Rappenhof Trakehner stud in Canada, heading stright for his 30th birthday. The dam sire Habicht has made his name mostly due to internationally successful competitors, in dressage, show jumping and especially eventing. The mare line of Patras vom Rappenhof traces back to the main stud farm in Trakehnen and the mare Pelargonie. The same line also produced the top dressage stallions Peron TSF and EH Partout.
