Balisto Z by Suchard out of Bernina V by Anduc. Balisto was approved in NMS under the name Babelsberg in 1995 and was awarded the best jumper prize in combination with a premium title for his overall quality, because he not only convinced over jumps, but also with his excellent, ground-covering movement. Balisto was sold to Denmark but his international career as a show jumper started in Italy, where he competed for the famous designer Benetton. Balisto won the Grand Prix in Midena and cometed for the Italian Nations Cup team several times before finally in 2003, the world-famous breeder of show jumper, Blegium Leon Melchior, bought the bay. Balisto Z was to serve his 16 year old daughter Judy-Ann as a trustworthy school master for her first experiences at the international level as well as serve the great stud farm as a refining sire for the jumper mares. Balisto Z, after his sire Suchard, is the second Trakehner ever aoorived by Zangersheide. He won the stallion competition at the CDI Caen with Judy-Ann Melchior in 2003 and also put in great rounds at the Sires of the World competition in Lanaken/Belgium. Balisto Z is now again available for German Trakehner breeders after his long absence from the breeding shed and we at TI sincerely hope these outstanding bloodlines will be utilized accordingly.

Suchard by Kassius out of ES Susi by Cesar. Suchard was the most spectacular jumper the Trakehner breed had seen to this day. With unlimited power, he seemed to stand still in mid-air when jumping. He was the first Trakehner stallion approved by the strictly Holstein-oriented Belgium Zangersheide stud book.
Suchard successfully competed at the German National Young Jumper Championships as well as the FEI World Championships for Young Jumpers in Lanaken, Belgium. He sired a number of approved sons, all with his talents over jumps and very good, almost dressage-like movement. They are Lessen (premium), Balisto Z (premium), Budweiser Classic and Lossow.
Suchard very sadly died at only 12 years.
