Sire EH Houston was approved in Neumünster in 1996 as one of two Sir Chamberlain sons that year. The other was the bay Ictenos, who later sold to Anky van Grunsven. In her stable, he matured into a brilliant Prix St Georg and Inter I horse and hopefully, there is more to come. Houston's career lay in eventing. He qualified twice for the Bundeschampionat with Marina Köhncke. An injury forced his retirment at stud. Houston's dam High Fidelity is a daughter of the TB stallion Saros xx, who was quite known in the Dutch breeds. He also has a very famous maternal half brother: Swazi xx. For the Trakehner breed, Swazi xx left the excellent elite stallion Consul and the CCI*** stallion Grand Prix. The second dam Havanna by EH Mackensen is a foundation mare for the Dutch breeding farm de Berkhoeve and together with her daughters, won the family championships at the Rhineland State Mare Show in the 90s. The line traces back to the big Herbstzeit family in the Trakehner breed. Isle of Man is Houston's second son in Neumünster. The first one, Beau Bandit, is a successful younger event horse in South Germany.

The dam Flavia V was sired by the great performance horse producer Arrak, whose offspring have competed at Olympic Games in dressage (Merlin TSF/Carolin Hatapla, Atlanta 1996) and have also won at FEI levels in eventing and show jumping. The second dam sire Giogio Armani is an important brood mare sire in the breed, apart from the fact that he had a very successful FEI career in dressage. The stallions I-Punkt, Insterburg and Illux are all out of Giorgio Armani daughters. The second dam Funny Girl II also produced the competition horses Franklin and Fairness (both by Arrak) and third dam Fanny XIII is dam of the outstanding S** level show jumper Fizzcaraldo (by EH Loenardo). The Flamme mare family has a long tradition in the stable of breeder Dieter Trepkau. Other stallions from this line include the all time great Flaneur, his full brother Mahdi, Falkensee, Feingeist (now ATA), Feudenfest, Farinelli, Fourtrax (ATA), FLugwind, Falkner and Fahnenträger II. In addition, the 2005 stallion candidates 42 Flavio Go and 43 Flatow come from this family.

Fendi is a very large framed mare with excellent possibilities for both dressage and eventing. Not shown in public so far, she is fully FN registered and a high quality sport horse for any discipline. With her rare breeding, she also offers a great addition to a competitive breeding program.
