The sire
Herzensdieb was the celebrated champion in NMS in 2005 and was sold at auction to Americans Louise and Douglas Leatherdale. He passed ann outstanding 70 day test and already qualified twice for the Bundeschampionat, winning the National Trakehner Riding Horse Championat in 2005. His sire Tambour also produced the approved 70 day test winner Herzog and will be named "Elite" in Neumünster 2007. Herzensdieb comes from a highly proven dam line, which also produced the stallions EH Herzzauber, Herzglanz, Herzfunke and the international Grand Prix dressage horse Hirtentraum/U. Sauer.
The dam
Herbstanemone was placed several times at various State Mare Shows and is a daughter of the great riding horse producer Arrak. His offspring competed at FEI levels in all disciplines, including the Olympic dressage gelding Merlin TSF (C. Hatapla, 1996 in Atlanta). The third dam Herbstlied also produced the S level dressage horse Herbstregen (by Mazagran) and M level driving horse Herbstisis (by Inspekteur). Both dam and sire of this colt come from the same Herbstblüte family.
