Mare family of T17A Tapete (Hauptgestüt Trakehnen)

The sire

King Arthur was the Neumünster champion stallion in 2000. He was also the approval champion of the Danish Warmblood Society in 2003. King Arthur is fully approved in Hanover, Oldenburg, Denmark and Sweden and was the reserve champion of his stallion performance test in Neustadt/Dosse. He is a highly versatile stallion, but his owners promote him in dressage, so his jumping talent is a bit unnoticed. The stallion had his first noteworthy season in 2004, where he placed in the top ten at both the FEI Young Horse World Championships in Verden as well as the Bundeschampionship in Warendorf. Today, he is an accomplished FEI horse. King Arthur's mare family is that of O23A2 Kabinda, a line that has also produced the very popular Karwendelstein. His dam is also dam of the ATA's Kitfox.

The dam

Second dam Traumfee III was successful in competition as a dressage horse and produced five registered sport horses in Germany, showing in show jumping and dressage alike. Dam sire EH Tuareg was "Stallion of the Year" in Germany and had an FEI career in dressage as an active competition horse. He has several successful FEO dressage offspring on the ground, but clearly the most outstanding of all is Renaissance Fleur TSF, the exceptional international Grand Prix star with Monica Theodorescu. Second dam sire Malachit was an accomplished dressage horse, and the line traces straight back to one of the best mare families from Trakehnen, the Tapete line, which today is represented in many countries and across all disciplines.
