This Anglo Trakehner mare is a major talent for the aspiring event rider. Hot n'Spicey only knows one direction - forward! She is eager to please, never tires, jumps with collossal scope (see video below) and has also shown great talent on her first trips to the cross country training park. About the sire:

Lucio Silla xx raced form ages 2-4 and endedn his career on a handicap of 80kg. As his stallion career was focused on warmblood breding, he was performance tested under saddle and successfully competed at 4th level dressage.

Sire Dashing Blade xx is a popular TB sire in Europe and has produced a number of very good racers. Several of his TB sons were approved for Trakehner and warmblood breeding, among them Daudet xx, Faberger xx, Fragonard xx, Full House xx, Saldenblatt xx and Zöllner xx. Fragonard xx, Full House xx and Zöllner xx have offspring under saddle competing very successfully in eventing up to Bundeschampionat level. The dam of Dashing Blade, Sharp Castan xx, is also dam of Royal Solo xx, whose son Ibisco xx is a Holsteiner Verband owned TB and is approved for almost all German warmblood books.

Lucio Silla's dam Ludovinia xx was a daughter of the so far only German Triple Crown Champion Königsstuhl xx. This stallion was a major success off th track as well, and had significant impact on the development of the German TB breed and its great reputation today. His get won over 1 Mio Euro on the track. His line is also firmly established in sport horse breeding. His son Helikon xx for example is the sire of the CCI**** eventer Seacookie (Trakehner), who placed 2nd at Burgjley under William Fox-Pitt. Kronenkranich xx, who is also fom the same K-family, is the dam sire of Ingrid Klimke's double Olympic gold medalist Butts Abraxxas. With Lavirco xx and Monsun x, Königsstuhl xx produced two other, tremendously successful TB sires. Especialy Monsun xx must be rated as one of the all time great race horse sires. Equally important for the Trakehner breed was Kaiseradler xx from the same mare family, who sired Madruzzo xx, Patricius xx and Windwurf xx - three very important stallions (Patricius xx - E.H. Van Deyk, Madruzzo xx - dam sire of Windfall *Pg*).

The 2nd dam Lunar Rendezvous xx produced 8 winners on the track. This TB family (TB-1 Tregonwell's Natural Barb Mare) also produced the State Stud stallion Lucky Boy (v. Lysippos xx) and the inflluential race horses/sires Never Say Die xx, High Chaparral xx, Shirley Heights xx, Buckpasser xx, Court Martial xx, Phalaris xx, Princequillo, Vaguely Noble xx, and My Babu xx.

About the dam:

Pr.St. Hot Colour is a very powerful mover with exceptional hind end mechanics and is also a good jumper. Her pedigree combines some of the most proven performance lines of the breed, along with the fact that the stamping sires of the past 30-40 years, Flaneur, Mahagoni, Donauwind and the great Habicht all appear in the first 4-5 generations. Hot Colour was the Reserve Champion of the Central Mare Inspection in Schleswig-Holstein 2006. Her paternal half sister Charisma III was the Champion of that inspection. Her scores of the mare performance test were: free jumping 8.5; trot 8.0; walk 7.5; canter 7.0; rideability 8.0 and test rider 8.0.

E.H. Manrico is one of the most proven all around sport hose sires of the Trakehner breed today and just in the past years has slowly made his way back into the spotlight. His get compete successfully at FI eventing and S level dressage. Manrico was also the champin of his 100 day test and won at Inter I level in dressage. His get constistently inherit great rideability and excllent jumping potential. Manrico's sire Gipsy King was an equally established dual purpose sires in the Trakehner breed with offspring competing at S level in show jumping and dressage. He was one of the last male representatives of the Abglanz line in the Trakehner breed. Gipsy King's dam line, that of the original treck mare Gundula (O326 Poll-Hörem), has produced a number of S level performance horses and the influential stallions Gunnar, Ginster, Grand Passion, Guy Laroche, Guter Planet, Guter Stern, Glenn Grant, as well as the equally versatile Grafenstolz TSF.

Manrico's dam Marcia II is an elite mare for the Trakehner Verband and is also the dam of the highly regarded approved chestnut Märchenprinz by Ecuador xx, who stood in Germany and Denmark. The grand dam Maike is also an elite mare and produced Marcia's full brother, the approved Maifeuer. Maike is also dam of the mare Mailicht by Habicht, whose old daughter Maiwolke by Arrak was successful as a show jumper at M level. From very close maternal relation, we also find the the outstanding show jumper sire Mandant and Marius, whose son Conte Conyaro had a long Grand Prix dressage career with Karin Kunert. This valuable and highly proven dam line is also the background of the S level show jumpers Merlin, Mondsichel and Morgenstern (all sired by Sarafan).

Hot n'Spicey's 2nd dam Hot Chocolate was an accomplished M level dressage horse. The third dam Heimkehr III is also dam of the ATA's Happy Hour. The large mare family of Herbstgold traces back to the original Main Stud Trakehnen mare Herbstzeit (by Bussard). This is the family of e.g. E.H. Herzzauber (FI dressage, Champion NMS 1991), Herzensdieb (Riding Horse Champion in Germany, Champion NMS 2005), E.H. Herzruf (international sport horse sire), Hirtentanz, Hölderlin (FEI eventer), Houston (event horse sire), the Ibikus-sire Hertilas, E.H. Hofrat (S level dressage, Reserve Champion NMS 2000), Hoftänzer (S level dressage, Reserve Champion NMS 2001), Herzbube (sire of WEG silver medalist E.H. Heuriger), Herzog (Bundeschampion eventing), and the international dressage horse Hirtentraum.
